People Are Selling ‘Baked Beans Baubles’, And It’s Making Us Feel Sick

Baked Beans Baubles

You get some truly weird and (sometimes) excellent stuff being sold on social media platforms.

I am yet to dip my toe into buying stuff being sold by random people on social media, just because I do not want to get locked up for handling stolen goods.

And I think that, even if I did buy some bootleg gear, then I would probably avoid buying food products because I like to know where my food has come from.

But one seller has come up with a novel idea for anyone who likes the thought of chocolate baubles, but who cannot eat dairy.

The idea? ‘Homemade Xmas baubles filled with yummy baked beans’, being sold for £5 each.

I mean, where do we start with this?

Firstly, I am relatively sure that once opened, then baked beans need to be placed in a fridge rather than on a Christmas tree?

Secondly, since when have baked beans been a substitute for chocolate!?

There are loads of vegan-friendly alternatives out there, including vegan-friendly ‘chocolate’ baubles.

The seller notes: ‘Great and healthy alternative to sweets and chocolate. Last few remaining so inbox to [sic] yours before they go!’

If you are vegan or lactose intolerant, then this seller points out that his products are: ‘perfect for vegans and lack toes [sic] and tolerant’.

So if you are a vegan, or if you do not have any toes, would you buy one of these? Let us know in the comments below.
