It is probably fair to say that most people agree that wearing a face mask when you are out in public is better than wearing no cover at all.
But it would seem that some people out there are a bit confused as to what type of mask they should be wearing when they are out mingling with the general public.
This matter has come to light after a passenger was spotted on public transport wearing a mask that would not look out of place in a masquerading ball (or a swingers party).
The aim of the face mask (of the personal protection variety) is to stop or reduce the amount of potentially infected ‘moist’ air particles from entering your respiratory tract.
So wearing a masquerading eye mask, with eye slits, probably won’t provide you with any protection whatsoever.
