Police Officers around the country have been spotted dropping off Easter Eggs to kids who have been in quarantine for nearly two weeks.
Any parent will tell you that trying to keep kids occupied and entertained during this unprecedented period is extremely hard.
Activities which, two weeks ago, would have kept our children occupied have now become almost mundane as kids start to miss the everyday interactions with family and friends that we once took for granted.
So Officers from Greater Manchester Police and forces around the country have been dropping off Easter Eggs to show solidarity with the families who are in quarantine having displayed symptoms of COVID-19.
In a tweet, Bianca Alexander said:
“Easter eggs left on our doorstep by wonderful Trafford officers.
“What a wonderful thing to do @gmpolice!
“Made the children so happy, a very welcome treat during our 14-day quarantine.
“Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy shift to do this”.
Officer have been using their own money to pay for the Easter eggs and have been dropping them off between dealing with calls.
