McDonalds Offers Free Drinks To Emergency Service Workers & Health/Social Care Professionals
You always find that during times of high-stress and high-anxiety, then there will be people and organisations who step up the mark to show people some compassion and empathy.
Emergency services & health care professionals are facing an unprecedented level of work as they battle to try and help as many people as they can, despite the extraordinary demand.
And although it might not sound like a lot, a McDonalds in Berkshire has said that it is willing to offer free drinks to emergency service workers and health/social care professionals.
In a post on their Facebook page that was brought to our attention by one of our followers, a spokesperson for the McDonalds in Northbrook Street, Newbury, said:
“Due to the increased pressure on Health and Social Care Professionals and Emergency Service Workers, until further notice we will be offering them free hot drinks and soft drinks at any time in ANY McDonalds to say thank you and support them”.
I am sure that this won’t be the last act of random kindness that we are going to see so we will keep our followers updated just as soon as we hear about any more.
